Shorcut on Firefox

Pedro — Mar 13, 2017 09:04PM CET

I'm running Firefox on OS X.
Push to Kindle's shortcut no longer work.

Why is that?

Hi, sorry about that. We've moved over to the new WebExtensions standard Firefox is encouraging developers to use. We've just submitted a new version to Mozilla which we hope gets approved soon (it's still in the review queue). It will have Alt+Shift+K as the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+K, the previous shortcut, conflicts with the developer console). But I don't think you'll be able to change the keyboard shortcut in Firefox just yet. Chrome currently allows users to change extension shortcuts within the browser, ie. the extension itself doesn't need to provide an options page to do it. I suspect Firefox will do the same soon. But if it doesn't, we'll look into adding the settings page back in to let users change the shortcut key.
