Can I host the self-hosted plan on my own computer if I turn it into an HTTP server? If so, should the pc meet any requirements?

Yes, you can do that. In addition to a web server you will need PHP. We offer a compatibility test PHP file which you can download and access once you have your HTTP server running on your PC. It will tell you if it meets the requirements.
